We're leaving, on a jet plane...

Yes, it's true. Liz and I are leaving America for less sunny climes back home in the UK. We've had 5 great years here and done/seen loads of brilliant things, but it's time for new beginnings. We both have jobs to go to, mine's in Kent and Liz's is in London, so we'll be moving somewhere commutable in Kent, probably Tonbridge or Tunbridge Wells area.

Will blog on with more details once we're there and settled in somewhere.

Mid Week Challenge April 5th

A 2 week one this time, since we'll be away.

1) Complete TOCA RD2 (PSP) - reckon I'll have done this before leaving the US, as I've got 6 championships to go.

2) Complete AW:DS Hard Campaign - about to start mission 23 I think, so this might be a bit harder.

3) Complete Hot Shots Golf (PSP) - think I only have 1 course left to open, but it's ages since I played it.

4) Have a go on all the different modes of Zoo Keeper (DS) - what's a good high score to aim for?

Silver surfer

At last, I have got at least a silver on all the licence tests of GT4. Scrubbed out the last 8 or so bronzes last night, all on the Super licence. I now have 62 Gold and 18 Silver, with 3 golds left to get in the IA and 15 in S. I know it's not worth getting them all for the prize cars (for the Super licence it's 1915 Model T Ford!), but it's something I have to do.

Not for a while though, as we're off home to the UK for 10 days or so, starting tomorrow. Should have plenty of travelling time to play DS and PSP games, but none for PS2.

Mid-week challenge March 15th-22nd

1) Finish mission 23 on AW:DS hard campaign. Going to Vegas at the
weekend so airport time should come in handy for this.

2) Get to 80% complete on TOCA RD2. This might take a bit longer than a
week, but I'll try.

3) Get all IA licence Golds. Not much chance at all since I won't be
here much at the weekend and I've only got 1 of the 16 so far!

GT4 stats update

Finished the IB licence Golds over the weekend, wasn't too hard in the end. Going for IA now.

GT4 licence progress

Managed to get in about 45 mins of GT4 action last night, while the missus was watching American Idol. Did a few licence tests, and got golds on IB5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and the Coffee Break. Only 6 to go...

Mid-week challenge March 8th-15th

1: Finish at least mission 22 on AW:DS hard campaign. I'm about to start mission 21 so this should be doable.

2a) Get to 50% on GT4 OR 2b) get all Golds on IB. Currently 45.8% and 4 Golds. Will see whether race series or licence tests take my fancy.

3) Get to 50% on TOCA RD2 (PSP). Not sure what my %age is at the moment, probably about 40ish.
